Review of 'Superdrug Superfruits Exfoliating Mask'

I love this face mask and it is only 99p. Now, I know that many people (including myself sometimes) can look at a cheap product and question as to whether it will actually be any good or not. Although this product is only 99p, it is fantastic! 

It makes my skin feel amazing, it helps prevent spots and blackheads...and it smells really good, which is definitely the main reason that I buy it! I would recommend this product to people with dry, oily or acne-prone skin.

My Last Week At School...

I honestly can't believe that this is my last week. I leave school on Monday 28th of April and I cannot believe that that is 6 years already! It feels like just yesterday I was walking towards the school with my best friend, Rose, for the first time. The new start, the big building, the new people... it was all so much to take in at the time, and now it's all over!

I have never been a popular person throughout my time in high school. I had a couple of friends but they both left at the end of our 5th year :(I was bullied for a very long period of time which really destroyed my confidence for a long time... however, this year has been different. I have a very good friend, called Emma, who has been a very good friend to me throughout our final year together.
I am head of my S6 Prom Committee which is very rewarding as I am working with a fantastic group of people and we are organising a fantastic prom for our fellow peers.
I am head of the schools Anti-Bullying Committee, which has allowed me to help younger pupils who are facing the same issues that I had previously dealt with.
I have been taking part in the school's Paired Reading Programme in which I help a young boy, Justin, who struggles with his reading. I am good friends with Justin now and I hope to stay friends with him for a long time :)
I also help out at my school's Young Chef's After School Club in which I aid younger pupils with their cooking skills which is further enhancing my skills of (hopefully) becoming a Home Economics Teacher!

It is very strange knowing that I will not be attending any lessons from 8:30 to 3:30, that I won't sit in my registration class and wonder whether today will be the day that our tutor teacher might actually read out the daily bulletin, that I might not hear one of my guidance teachers AWFUL jokes! :P

High school has helped make me the strong, independent person I am today :) I am sure that I will carry the skills that I have learned in high school for the rest of my life.

My Higher English Exam is in 9 DAYS!!

I am very scared! I would love to get a B, especially since this is my 2nd year studying this! I studied Higher English last year but only attained a D :( which was really disappointing :( I've put in so much work this year, I'm just hoping it all pays off! 9 days to go..... I just need to try and not panic :P

Is anyone else sitting Higher English this year? How are you feeling about it?

Review of "Miss Sporty Studio Lash Black Liquid Liner"

I bought this little eyeliner for £2.79 so I was a little skeptical about it as I have previously bought eyeliners for similar prices and they were not that good! However I am glad that I bought this one! It gives me a really thin and clean line of eyeliner. I like my eyeliner to be quite a thin line as I do not want it to be overpowering, but I like to have my eyes quite defined :P

This eyeliner is such a good quality eyeliner and it is such a good price! As it is the 'Miss Sporty' range, I have also found that if I forget to take it off before I go to the gym, it is usually in the same condition as when I left the house :) The applicator is extremely useful as it is in between a brush and a pen :P which I feel makes it easier! I would definatley recommend this product as it is such a good price and a really great quality! :)

Review of Boots 'Still Mixed Berry Skin Sparkler' Drink

I started drinking this water about a year ago and I usually buy it whilst I'm working as part of the Boots meal deal. The water costs £1.50 per bottle which may seem slightly expensive for a bottle of flavored water, but I do really enjoy it! The mixed berry flavor is actually there and tastes nice (unlike other brands of 'flavored' water in which it just tastes like weird water..)

It also has added Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium and Zinc which are all antioxidant vitamins and will aid skin growth and repair. When I drink it my skin seems to calm down with regards to acne, and it is nice to have clear skin! I would definitely recommend this water, it tastes lovely and helps to clear your skin! Enjoy!

Review of 'Big Easy' Multi-Balancing Complexion Perfector Foundation from Benefit

I started using this foundation a couple of weeks ago and I have to say it has been very good for my skin! I bought it for £27.50 and since I am a student, it isn't and ideal price but I needed a new foundation and wanted a good one that would last a while.The shade I use is "Fair 01" and I apply my foundation with a foundation brush as I feel this prevents my skin from becoming oily throughout the day.

The product description states that

 "First, Big Easy balances moisture & controls oil. Second, the cushiony liquid-to- powder formula melts in like a cream, yet finishes lightweight & velvety like a powder."

This is so true! I have used a foundation previously that supposedly gave a powder finish and it did not.

Big Easy delivers on this and although I do still apply a small powder coverage, just to get rid of any slightly shiny spots, this foundation will last all day - with or without powder! I gives a very good coverage and I definitely recommend it!

I Love My New Job!

Random little update! I have recently started working part-time at Costa Coffee! I'm really excited but also quite nervous! It's rather busy quite a lot of the time! The people I'm working with are lovely and my manager seems really funny! 

I do miss my old work sometimes:( I worked at a different cafe called Cafe Metropole. I miss it quite a lot, especially the people I worked with! They were like a small family to me. I had to leave Cafe Metropole due to the lack of hours I was getting due to the company not making enough money - so I started applying for jobs and here I am now - at Costa Coffee.

Do any of you work in any Cafe's? What are they called? Do you enjoy your work?

Also, BIG question! What is your favorite drink from Costa Coffee? :)

Review of 'All In One Blusher' from the Body Shop

I bought this little beauty from the Body Shop for £8.00 and I can honestly say it's fantastic! It's the best blusher I have used in a while. I feel that I don't need to use loads just to get some colour on my cheeks and if I do put a little too much on it is very easy to blend into my foundation. It stays on really well and does not fade throughout the day. The shade I use is 'Ginger' and I think it suits my skin tone really well (I hope it does anyway!) From my perspective it is a really good value for money. I have been using it for three months now and I still cannot see the silver at the bottom of the blusher tub!
Have any of you used this blusher before? Or do you have a different brand that you would recommend? Comment and let me know :)

First Post Ever!

I'm actually rather excited about my first post! I've always wanted to start a blog, but I could never think of anything that people might find interesting to post! My blog can be anything I want it to be :) I will post anything from reviews on films, music or even make up I use, or maybe just updates on my life in general, or perhaps give my view on issues that I feel are important :)
Today is Sunday 13th April 2014, so today I am going to work at Costa Coffee (where I have recently started working part-time) and then I am going to visit my Auntie, Uncle and my 1 year old cousin.
